The highest flexibility cables suitable for servo control and power applications use the SF series power servo cables, which can integrate and monitor servo drives more flexibly. The SF series cables are specifically designed for the connection of servo motors, drives, and controllers with power sources, featuring a flexible TPE sheath and PVC/nylon insulation layer. They are ideal for use in environments requiring continuous movement and flexing. These cables are UL-listed certified and meet the requirements of NFPA 79, thus being suitable for use in industrial machinery applications. The cables have two structures. The ordinary cable has four wires, each used for connecting the power source and grounding. The composite cable adds two pairs of separate shielded, double-wired twisted pairs for braking or temperature control.

With the same performance but smaller size, the new wires now offer both the proven Xtra-Guard performance and smaller, more flexible cables with a size of 26 AWG (0.14 mm2) and 28 AWG (0.09 mm2). These small-sized cables come in various numbers of wires and pairs, shielding options, and environmental durability choices. The Xtra-Guard high-performance cables use top-quality SR-PVC insulation material, making them easier to strip and terminate, and they use polyvinyl chloride sheathing, making cable routing and installation easier. Whether you are looking for reliable signal integrity in a controlled environment, more durable cables that meet mechanical stability requirements, or cables that can work in extreme temperatures, you will find that Xtra-Guard cables have outstanding performance. These new wire diameters are applicable to the entire Xtra-Guard series.

Enhanced design achieves outstanding performance. The V series variable frequency drive (VFD) cable sets the standard for high-performance and reliable connections. The specially formulated cross-linked polyethylene insulation material it uses has excellent corona resistance, a low capacitance design allows for longer wiring distances, and has very excellent low-temperature characteristics. This three-core cable adopts a symmetrical design, with bare copper ground wire located in the wire gap, featuring consistent wire-to-ground capacitance and impedance. This consistency reduces the possibility of common-mode current causing damage to the motor.

Is it necessary to protect the crimp terminals from mechanical or environmental conditions? Is it necessary to mark the wires with different colors for easier identification of the circuits? Is it necessary to quickly and reliably repair insulation gaps or wear? No matter whether you are concerned about mechanical stress release, environmental sealing or wire management, the FIT heat shrink tubes of Alpha Wire are very suitable for solving many problems that arise in electrical and electronic wiring: • Protect the substrate from moisture, ultraviolet radiation, corrosion, oxidation, dust, chemicals, wear, environmental conditions, welds and packaging • Protect wire terminations, joints and entire printed circuit boards from electrical and environmental conditions

Choosing the right cable is one of the most important safety decisions. Ordinary wires and cable insulation materials release toxic gases, smoke and acidic substances when they burn. Alpha Wire can provide various high-performance cables that can reduce the amount of smoke and eliminate the release of halogens without affecting their electrical and mechanical properties. Although halogens (such as chlorine in PVC or fluorine in PTFE) used in ordinary cable materials are generally stable in most cases, they cause serious harm to human health when burned. Halogen-containing plastics release hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride and other dangerous gases when burned.
